Hello Beverly: My progenitor, per family lore, was born in Scotland ca
1768. Believe he came to NC. He married in the late 1790's in NY to
Elizabeth Ogden and began having kids. The family moved to Trumbull Co.
Ohio. Later the family moved to Ky. Oldest son, Daniel, remained in
Trumbull Co. Ohio. He married twice there and each time to a girl from
Coitsville,Ohio - this is near Youngstown and on the Pa. border. This is
late news for us and believed to be correct. I am sure that he had children
before moving onto to probably Indiana or Mo. I can dig up his wives, if

was thought to be Catherine...maybe last name Lancaster...but not sure.
