Hello, my name is Evan Ashford. My GG Grandmother, Josephine Brookshire-Kern was born a McDougle (McDougal) in Neshoba County in 1860. She was half white and half native. Most of my family from her line came from Neshoba. Do you know the name of the McDougal (McDougle) slave owner in Neshoba County? Josephine had a sister who married a McDonald, and a niece who married a Stribling all from Neshoba County.
