Dear Nancy, are you the one with the Jacob McDonald in your line? I have a Jacob McDonald born in Cumberland Co. N.C. in the 1770's, son of James and Sara Matthews McDonald. I have found 1 record of Jacob in S.C. where the family had moved, Chesterfield and Lancaster Co. N.C.We haven't proven any other info on Jacob. Sincerely, Ruth M. Scruggs
