Joseph's World War I draft registration card gives his birth as August 16,
1900. He was living in Romney working as a riveter. He lists his next of
kin as George McDonald.who is living at Shanks. Joseph is described as
tall, slender with blue eyes and sandy hair. The card is dated September
10, 1918.
