Alexander McDaniel b. in Orange Co., NC in 1789. Married Edith Isabel Baker in Orange Co., NC. 1816. Married Priscilla Smith in Orange Co., IN. 1823. Changed his name to McDonald while in Parke Co., IN about 1825/30. Went to Missouri late 1830s. Died in 1852 in Andrew Co., MO. He had two children with first wife. 11 children with second wife.
