Hi List,

This is the first time I'm posting to the list. I'm looking for any
information on my gr gr grandparents John & Mary McGowan from Buffalo, Erie
Co., New York. They had 2 children Etta (my gr grandmother) & her brother
George. Etta married my gr grandfather Arthur Carey. She gave birth to my
grandfather Arthur Joseph Carey on 29 Apr 1901 in Buffalo. She died when
Arthur was a small child. After she died John & Mary raised him & his father
Arthur didn't have anything to do with him.

George's wife's first name was Mae. George worked for the IRS in the Buffalo
area. He died in 1962. Any information anyone might be able to give me would
be greatly appreciated.
