My G-G-G-Grandfather - David McKnight first shows up in Lawrence/Sharp Co., AR in 1845 marrying Martha Cavens of Missouri. His birthplace is listed in the 1860 census as S. Carolina approx. 1795. Can anybody help me get back farther or where he was up to age 50?
