Searching for ancestors of Alfred McCLENDON. He was born between 1790 and
1800, but we do not know birth place. He and Shadrach McCLENDON each
established claim in 1811 in St. Tammany Parish, LA; was a soldier in the War
of 1812 from St. Helena Parish, LA along with Jesse McCLENDON (son of
Shadrach); married Permelia McKie in 1818 in East Feliciana Parish, LA; and
died between 1833 and 1837. Any advice and/or information will be helpful.
