I have a red mark, and I also have a Hicks or Hix family in my
genealogical line. This particular line is comprised of mainly pioneer
families who settled in Lee County, Virginia.

I have the red mark just below the hairline in the back (just like you
Frankie!! imagine that!!) Someone told me that was also called the Hicks
mark. (My Colemans intermarried with the Hicks.)
