Hi Group,

I'm new at this. I am 0+, my husband A and
children A. Think blood type determined by father.




Found you via the article by N. Shute on
Brent Kennedy's book featured in the US News World Report
Special edition, (front cover the Sphinx) Second article Jan29 issue
mentioned in a members message already. Typed in Melugeon and look where
it has gotten me. I have a Sparks in my ancestry, but from some of the messages
I am reading from you guys anything can have taken place to become a
descendant. I also down loaded some articles including The
Mystery of the Melungeons by Nancy Sparks Morrison found on the
internet. Interesting about anatomical features attributed to Melungeons, which
I have, the Asain Ridge, the front tooth sloop, health problems, and
multi-fingered(6) individuals born into the family. So this is all very
interesting to me. Cherokee is a known, but the other ethnic
cultures are unknown. My father born and raised in Oklahoma Territory
1889 was extremely careful about "Not Talking." Interestingly enough my
mothers sister has the Asian eyelid and blotchy pigmentation. I am
wondering if ancestors on both sides are Melungeon. Thanks for
