Dennis, Wanted you to know that I think you are doing a great job. May not
agree with everything, but that is life. I want to thank you for getting rid
of those low moraled,simple minded who try to cause trouble. Anyone who
would say these things, that they know are offensive to others, much less say
it on the Internet are subcultures, they are not good enough for those of us
on this site who honor the Melungeon heritage and associate with the good
folks who are trying to be educated about things of long ago.
No one but a trouble maker would defame a president of the United States, no
one but an uneducated, unfeeling cad would call anyone a ----- in public and
how much more public can this be? I do not care how much or how little
formal schooling they had, I say uneducated, because I mean they are not
educated in the simple social graces called manners, that most learned about
while on their mother's knee, if they listened, that is. Some folks just
want to be loud and heard, no matter that they cannot speak fluently on any
subject. As for the young man who thinks that he can run this web better,
some of what he says might be good, but I do not feel that with his anger he
would not do well. Also if no one can be a member unless he can prove that
he was a Melungeon, he won't have much genealogy talk going on, as everyone
will have already found their roots, and he said that he is not going to
allow anything but genealogy on it. Also this young man needs to learn that
wisdom and knowledge comes with experience, and experience is gained with age
and time. To Betty, you have friends, do not take this person's abuse to
heart. I do not know if the folks who wrote all of this stupidity are
Melungeon or not, but I hope NOT, and what ever they are, I am glad that they
are long gone, thanks to Dennis. Betty you MUST keep your byline, maybe it
will keep someone away from abuse, I feel that this subhuman person whomever
they were probably recognizes himself in that byline and cannot stand the
truth, and does not want whomever is the receiver of his wrath to know that
there is help and support out there. I know that he is an abuser, because he
abused the whole website with his nasty words. Thank you once again, Dennis,
for stopping it we should not have to be subjected to it. Anyone who wants
to bring dirty politics into it is also not on this web for knowledge, only
for causing trouble and Dennis we thank you for your wisdom. We do have
differences from time to time, but it does get calmed down as I feel that we
are all adults and may not all agree completely on everything. I do feel
that we need to talk things out peaceably, and as I have said before, agree
to disagree if nothing else. I for one want people who are good sincere
people to stay with us, and not be scared of by arguing. The larger the
membership.the better chance we have to learn more. Those who have left
because of the radicals who have been deleted from this site and are in
agreement with their cause (whatever that might be,I can't see that they any
real purpose in it except to cause trouble)well,we didn't need them anyhow.
It is their loss, not ours. Anyone who was on the receiving end of their
little tirade, forget it, consider the source or sources. You are among

Hey Tabitha,I know you got your dander up, just like I did, cause it sounded
like fightin' words to me, and I admit kicked a few butts in my day and still
could if I had to, but I have found out that you can do a whole lot more
damage by putting the individual down with words than by action, and if you
phrase it in a nice way, they feel dumber than a box of rocks, which they
usually are. Then you have saved your energy for better things, like talking
to us on this site. Come on Hon, think about it. They usually cannot converse
like we can and really do not know how to communicate anyway, so don't let
them take you DOWN to their level, make them come UP to your territory, where
you have better odds of winning. Sometimes they may even see things your
way, if not, what have you lost? No self respect for sure, they can't take
that away. I know you probably get really hot sometimes, just like I do, but
I refuse to give them anything to use against me. We can go head to head on
MY level and if they aren't smart enough to do that, I have lost absolutely
nothing and they have gained nothing either which is once again,their loss.

P.S. no offense was meant to any of my Melungeon friends on our website,
only those enemies who wanted to cause trouble and thankfully, did not
succeed. We are family and that means a lot. Any one is welcome to join if
they want to join us for education and family closeness, not for disruption
and trouble, am I right, friends?
