LOL! You too!

I really think Melungeons came from itchy footed people! I have one sister
who is doing the unusual: She lives within 17 miles of our birthplace, and
her kids both live nearby.

My older sister lives in another state, but all her kids are blocks from
her.

Meanwhile, I continue the itchy foot syndrome, as do my kids! But then, I
decided in 4th grade I wasn't going to be among the 90 percent, or whatever
it was, the teacher said died within 100 miles of where they were born.
Besides, I had this ancestral legacy to continue! LOL!

Even mom's people were wanderers...okay, her mom came from the same area of
Scotland as their ancestors going back to the beginning of time, but even
they appear to have taken in wanderers as spouses. Mom's dad appear to have
intermingled with the Mongolian invaders -- they were called German on their
arrival here, but they weren't German looking. They looked like a blend of
Asian and European, and that look carries thru to my contemporaries on that
side.

> Yes, mine, too. My Foljambes (DeFoleschamps) were Danish. Then they
dropped in on Normany, France for a while, as Viking invaders. After that,
they cruised on over to England. Somewhere between 1610 and 1669, my
(8th)g-grandfather, Anthony Fulgham, sailed on over here to America (Isle of
Wight, VA). Seems like they never could be happy in one place :-)
