With 83% "Eurasian" and 17% a mix of Native American, African, and
Turkish/Middle Eastern/Asian Indian, it's clearly a real mix. And the
"Eurasian" according to Jones runs from northern Europe to the Mediterranean
to south Asia.
I truly expected definitive Portuguese to show up, which it did not

I shared with Dennis the other day some of a Y-DNA test my cousin, a
Freeman, had done. I am from the same line. I did not even think to check
for a Portuguese match/near match until now. Under "Recent Ethnic Origins,
Two Step Mutations" it shows one from Portugal. I was fascinated by these
results. I'll list them all for those who are interested (male Freeman
line). I am really curious about those "Unknown origins":
