Kelly,
I guess I learned the same songs I now sing to my grandchildren:
Lullaby and good night, sweet baby sleep tight.
Hush, little baby, not a word --Mama's gonna buy you a mockingbird....
Bye Baby Bunting, Daddy's gone a-huntin
Trot, Trot, Trot to grandma's house to get a little sugar in the babies
mouth
Summertime
You are my sunshine

When we were in WV, we woke up at 5am to gospel music on the radio.

As for dances:
Hokey Pokey
Hucklebuck (My Uncle Ellis taught me this one --he would take me to town and
have me dancing on the street corner --people threw coins)
When I got older, my Dad taught me the jitterbug.
I learned to Square Dance in school --that passed for PE class.
:-) Sheila
