The winning ticket was sold in a convenience store 7 miles from me. And
I broke the news to everyone this morning that I was not the winner.

Subject: [Melungeon] I think I got it/powerball winner

To me he would be a progenitor of all these you name. But not
considered
"one" himself.

Somebody in West VA won powerball, didn't they? It wasn't my Ole buddy,
and pal and kinfolk Roger was it? haha Penny

Gibby Gibson left a will in 1727 and named four sons. Three sons left
descendants:

1. George Gibson's descendants went to Tennessee and George was the
ancestor of the Gibsons known as Melungeons

2.John Gibson's descendants went to Louisiana and he was the ancestor of
the Gibsons called Redbones.

3. Gilbert's descendants went to South Carolina and he was the ancestor
of the Gibsons known as Brass Ankles.

Was Gibby Gibson, the father, a Melungeon, Redbone, Brass Ankle OR none
of the above. If these names were "coined" to describe the dark skin of
the Gibson descendants [who claimed to be Portuguese/Indian] of Gibby
Gibson then he would not be considered any of the three...would he?
