I just subscribed to this list. I'm told that the Ison name has been discussed recently and I'm sorry I missed it. Here's the line I'm researching:

> George Ison married Annie Ryder around the turn of the century
> George's parents were Silas Ison and Nancy Reed, married 3/21/1878;
> Parents of Silas - Ira Ison and Rachel "Polly" Davidson, married 4/9/1827
> Parents of Ira- Charles Ison and Elizabeth Jane Jones
Do any of these fit into the overall picture?
