Hi Joanne
Thanks for posting this. Good to see some Melungeon topics on a
"mainstream" website like ETHS. It appears that the author shares my
opinion about the "human interest/fictional accounts" written in various
popular publications, designed for entertainment and not as serious
historical research, over the last 150+ years. It's amazing that so many
folks put so much stock in "stuff" that is about on the same level as
material seen today in National Enquirer, Star, etc.
