Hi Twanda and list. I don't think the State of Virginia will touch it.
I think they would feel it was another can of worms labeled:
"Reparations" that would be opened by descendants of the victims. But
that's my opinion.

that is an excellent idea to contact the state of Virginia and seek the
opening of the files without blacking out the names involved. I
personally have been on this idea for some time now and have written the
Governor and others trying to get them to open the files and permit them
to be viewed without the names being blacked out. Maybe if more than a
few will write the Governor of Virginia and request the same thing, he
might just give some credance to our request. Be safe Twanda
oops, fergot, I just go to the Virginia site and click on contacting
the govenor, and I sent the same note to anyone else that I can find to
send email to..
