. Jack Goins said:

"Englishmen reached Barbados in 1625 and the first permanent English settlement was founded in 1627" (notice the dates)

and

Joy King said on another email list, but what the heck
"William Sizemore was in VA at least three years (1616) prior to receiving his land in 1619. The VA records show he was from England." (notice the dates)

and Joy also shows:

"Colonial Records of Virginia (Senate Document-Extra, 1874: reprint, Baltimore, Maryland: Clearfield Company, 1989), pp. 40,41. (1622) Living-The rest at West and Sherlow Hundred Island."
a list of people which included
William Sismore
Martha Sismore

and Jack also said:

"Looks like if true, this proves the Sizemores and Minors were actually British who settled in Barbados."

and Brent Kennedy said:

"can we trace any of "our" Sizemores directly to this Barbados Sizemore family? Or any other Jewish Sizemore family? I haven't been able to do so which makes the issue of kinship moot, until someone can match them up either genealogically, genetically, or ideally from both standpoints."

I learned on this list that Jack's Sizemores dna came back Q3, which is Native American. Remember when Beth got so confused with that email she had received?

The Native American Sizemore's may have come from a Sizemore lady and a Native American gentleman. Where and when does the link to Barbados come in?
