Suze, When Oprah and Gail came, the others had been there for several
months. It was so funny when they were getting dressed to enter the town.
They told Oprah, and Gail they would have to remove their undies, because
they didn't have undies back then.

So much for the Puritan myth. LOL!

Long time ago, I was in Plymouth at what was supposed to have been the original colony site. What amazed me was how very thin the material was. Last night's show made a big point about the women having to wear those garters around their tops to cover themselves up.

All I know is that I'm glad I didn't live then. I kept thinking how hot that whole wardrobe had to be.

...there are people who just want to dig an emotional bunker and jump inside.
They think if they put up enough walls, they'll always be safe.
The irony is that instead of locking others out, they are actually locking themselves in.
They may avoid a few things that make life difficult, but in the end, they also miss out on all
the wonderful things that make life worth living.
