Hi,
We got some good news from Pensacola today!
Don's brother, his wife and father-in-law all survived Ivan.
We hadn't heard from them until today, so we have had some anxious moments. They
lost some trees and a few shingles. The neighbors house was leveled by a tornado,
but they are all okay also!
We are relieved, but continue to pray for those without homes or the basic
necessities of life.My brother-in-law expects it to be several weeks before power and
phone service is fully restored. His father-in-law has phone service, but he
doesn't.
Sure puts things in perspective, doesn't it?
Oh, by the way, I was looking at the 1840 census today and found that my brick wall,
Harrison Boling, listed his occupation as Merchandise and trade - wonder what he
traded or sold??? More mystery.
Sheila
