Subject: Old English names Yuemsey (Quincy)

While searching for my husband's grandfathers, found in the 1920 Miracode
census , Alleghany Co.,VA some of his children. Wasn't sure it was the right
ones but so close I couldn't ignore. After asking on one of my list, someone
replied that the names were in 'old english' (ie: Willie (William), Beatles
(Beatrice) ; Rubert (Robert); Mollie (Polly)
HYLTON. Also now my brick wall is 1818 Yuemsey/Yuimsey (Quincy)
FORBES which is on the 1850 census for Alleghany Co.,VA . You may have given
me another clue...Thank You. Gloria in MS (transplant from VA)
