If you have *specific* questions about what any of the DNA testing results
(from any of the companies, FTDNA, DNAPrint, etc) mean, there is a Rootsweb
mailing list that deals with Genealogy DNA testing & understanding your
results. There is a world of experience on that list & all are willing to
help people with less (or no) experience. You can subscribe at the
following URL.

http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/other/DNA/GENEALOGY-DNA.html

It would probably be a good idea to have your questions ready before you
subscribe to post them, since this list generates up to 2,000 messages a
month.

received a list of ethnic info that made little sense to me. They did
trace my Stewarts through exact matches with three other men. The
documentation goes back to a Charles Stewart born 1610 in London, an
anglicized Scot. He was the immigrant who was in Henrico Shire. VA ca.
1630. I will review that info and see how it matches my test from Dom
Panther Yates. I do remember being told that the Family Tree ethnicity
report was not to be relied upon too heavily. The three Stewart men that I
matched exactly had the documentation on our Stewarts, and I was able to
fit mine right in. However, they have no ethnic info themselves and feel
we are Scots. I chose not to bring up any of Dr. Kennedy's works or the
Melungeon people to them.
