Dear janet,I have had the 12 and 25 y chromosome DNA on my Barnes line which incudes some Meliungeon blood but is not one of the original authentic Melungeon core families. I have send in th 12 test on my Rhea/Ray ancestors. From all the data I can find Jonnie Rhea, in Sneedvilles', line and mine are the same. My uncle, ernest Rhea, grandson of John L.Rhea and I also share the Redwine Ancestry thru which we inherited our Jewish and Indian blood lines. I do not know if any of this would fit in anyway or be of any value to the study. It is on the Barnes,Moore,Woodall lines, and soon will be on the Rhea/Ray/Redwine, lines. Dr. Bob!

Actually, don't you think this sampling is way too small to indicate
anything?
