My mom and I have always said that we inherited Neanderthal feet. :-)
There was a special on National Geographic channel last night about
early humans, but our poor old Neanderthal cousins weren't mentioned.
They gave modern humans credit for the first art and for the first
burial of their dead, but recent info is showing that Neanderthal was
actually the first, but just hasn't gotten the credit yet. Too many
younger researchers are afraid to go against the theories of the old
guys like Leakey and his cronies.
