Growing up our basement was full of canned beans, there was green beans galore as well as corn, I don't know if you are calling canned as pickled because I remembered canned foods and then lfoods like pickled corn, also my father spoke of clabbered milk that he loved when he was a child that he said since pasturazation and homoginazation became standard(forgive my spelling) Dad said they took fresh cows milk and placed it in direct sun light and it would clabber, and while they drank it there would be lumps in it they would swollow, he said it was vey good.
