Haha Jim...looks like mine is at the bottom of the totem pole...spent time
in Jefferson County, Indiana Prison, for stealing a horse, they called it
Grand Larceny. His father died when he was only 14 tho and he was the sole
support of his mother and sisters., got out for good behavior after 3
years...joined the 10th Ind. Volunteers, did a heroic deed for the Union
(single-handedly caught and returned 3 Confederate soldiers who were making
a run for it) during the Battle at Rich Mountain, W. Virginia, got out,
married, raised his family and I'm very proud of my GGGrandfather, Scott S.
