Father: Martin Edward Mortensen, as per birth certificate, however it could be Charles Stanley Gifford, who was involved with Gladys at the time.

Norma Jeane lived with foster parents in Hawthorne, CA until her mother bought a home at 6812 Arbor dr. Hollywood, CA. They lived together there from 1934 until Gladys was hospitalized at Norwalk Mental Hospital, Norwalk, CA
1938- Gladys hospitalized at Agnews State Mental Hospital, San Jose, CA.
1949- Gladys left Agnews and left the State of California to live in Florida.
1953- Gladys placed in Rockhaven Sanitarium in Verdigo City, Florida.
1959- Marilyn sets up a Trust Fund for the care of her Mother.
1962- Marilyn died in CA.
1967- Gladys moved into the home of her oldest daughter, Berniece Baker, in Florida.
1970- Gladys moved into her final home: Collins Court Old Age Home, Florida.
1984- Gladys died in March, in Florida.

He died of a venereal disease.
He was the son of Jacob Monroe and Mary E. Appleton
He is shown living in the household of his step-father J. H. Stewart in the 1880 census at Chetopa tswp., Neosho Co., KS (near Thayer, KS)

Mother: Della Mae Hogan b. 7-1-1876 MO d. 1930's at Norwalk State Mental Hospital
She was the daughter of Tilford Marion Hogan b. 1851 IL and "Jennie"C.V. Nance b. 1857 MO
This family is shown living in 1880 census at District 5, Flat Creek, Barry Co., MO.
Tilford M. Hogan commited suicide about 1934?
