Of Akron, NY entered into rest February 8, 1998; wife of the late Cameron
Davis; loving mother of Cora (late Donald) Heukrath, Marvin (Barbara) Davis,
Charles (Ruth) Davis and the late Harry M. Davis; also survived by 14
grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held
Tuesday February 10th at 11 AM in the BERNHARDT FUNERAL HOME, 130 Main St.,
Akron. Calling hours Tuesday morning from 10-11 AM. Burial Wednesday
February 11th in West Park Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio.

passed away in his 64th year; beloved husband of Dorothy Montour dear father
of Mrs. Allan (Mary) Sault and Sydney both of R6 Hagersvile; Mrs. Freeman
(Ethel) Jacobs of Hamilton; Mrs. James (Eleanor) Brant of Fort Erie; Mrs.
Vernon (Frances) MacNaughton, Niagara Falls, New York; Mrs. Louis (Roberta)
Maccioni of Buffalo, New York; Ronald, Albert, Cecil, Dorothy and Judith,
all at home. Resting at Styres Fuenral Home, Ohsweken for funeral service
on Monday from fuenral parlor at 1:30 p.m. to Stone Ridge Church, Ohsweken.
Interment in adjoining cemetery. Evening service Sunday, 8 p.m.


DAVIS Gretta Bernice, Veteran Second World War-Peacefully at Iroquois Lodge
Ohsweken on Wednesday, January 29, 2003, Gretta (Staats) Davis, age 78
years; wife of the late Edgar Davis Sr.; loving grandmother of Michelle
Renee and Tanner Jon; mother of Edgar Davis Jr.; dear sister of Barbara
Bainbridge and Cassie Jamieson; special friend of Thomas Clause;
sister-in-law of Harold Douglas (Norma), Peter Jamieson Sr. and James Nolan;
also survived by many nieces and nephews; predeceased by parents Wilfred and
Cassie (Hill) Staats. Gretta was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Anglican
Church and member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 90, Brantford. The
family will honour her life with a visitation after 6 p.m., Friday at Styres
Funeral Home, Ohsweken. Funeral service and burial will be held at St.
Paul's Anglican Church, Six Nations on Saturday, February 1, 2003 at 11 a.m.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Legion
Branch 90, Brantford. Evening prayers 7 p.m. Friday.


COOPER Jean Marie-At Cornwall Island on February 24, 2002, Jean (Powless)
Cooper, age 69 years; wife of the late Alton Cooper; step-mother of Edward,
Gerald, Hobart Nolan, and John Cooper; grandmother of several grandchildren;
sister of Helen Powless of Rochester, New York, Marion (Doll) Cooper of
Middleport, Pat Tarbell of Hogansburg, New York, and James W.D. Powless of
Rochester, New York; predeceased by parents James and Flora (Smith) Powless;
also survived by several nieces and nephews. Jean is a retired employee of
the Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester, New York. Resting at the Hyde &
Mott Chapel, R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., after 2 p.m. Wednesday.

and Blanche Hilda Davis, both of Onondaga Township. Mr. and Mrs. A.

Mr. and Mrs. Edward Dougherty of Onondaga are celebrating their 50th wedding
anniversary today. A family dinner at their home on Saturday will mark the
occasion. They will greet friends at Onondaga Township Hall from 8 p.m.
that evening. The couple has two daughters Mrs. Cliff (Jean) Bowman of
Caledonia, Mrs. Wayne (Joyce) Cameron of Stoney Creek and four sons, Don of
Brantford, Mac of Kitchener, Graeme of R1 Middleport and Glen at home.

Gus Curley and Paula Mt. Pleasant. Predeceased by his brother Richard
William Curley. The late Mr. Curley was a retired contractor. Friends may

grandmother, and auntie has gone home on this day, March 13, 2001. Our
Mother was born on August 18, 1919 to Elizabeth (Russell) and Peter Johns.
She was in her 82nd year. She will be sadly missed by her children Carole
Longboat Montour, Elliot James Crawford, Garnette Crawford, Patricia and
Joseph Greene; by her beloved sister and best friend Wilma (Bomberry)
Powless and brother-in-law Ross Powless; will belovingly remembered by he
grandchildren Jess, Sara, Kelli, Joey, Arnie, Gasenneeyoh, Sam, Margaret,
Kristeen, and great-granddaughter Kel-Cee. She will also be remembered by
all of her nieces and nephews; predeceased by her sisters Adeline, Rita,
Merl, Vera, Claudia, Iva and her brothers Albert and Harry; also predeceased
by her long time companion and friend Elliot Crawford. Our Mother will be
resting at her daughter Garnette Crawford's house at 3567 4th Line East
after 1 p. m. Wednesday, March 14. Burial will be at the Lower Cayuga

(Miller) in her 87th year, of 165 Alice Street, Brantford, (formerly of
London); beloved wife of the late Alfred Cornelius; dear mother of Mrs. E.J.
(Bessie) White of Brantford and John H. Cornelius of London; survived also
by 6 grandchildren. Resting at the Wortley Road Chapel of A. Millard George
Funeral Home, Wortley Road at Elmwood Avenue after 5 p.m. Wednesday.

February 25, 1989, in his 35th year, Robert Allen Van De Walle of Princeton;
beloved son of Alfred of Paris and the late Wilhelmina Van De Walle; dear
