Anyone ever heard of Daniel Leander Arthur? I have proof of my ggrandfather being Lee Anderson Arthur according to death records, but... was told by a family member today that his daughter had written out this name along with his children and wife's name. So I am just checking all of my leads. b. 12Nov1863 d. 31Jan1946 It is also possible he is half Cherokee Indian. Could Leander be an original last name? That might have been changed to Arthur? These are just leads I am following up on.
