I was reading in a Website a few days ago re: Monocan surnames in Virginia .
I noticed that the names Walker, Barbour and Jackson were listed. Does anyone
know anything about these families or could give me some info on who the
Monocan's are. I am decended from a Barbour who married a Walker whose
children married into Jackson family. The Jackson's were supposedly Saponi
Sioux from Orange County, VA.
