Darla,
I don't know about the 1600's but there is a tribe located in West Virginia
now they do not live on a reservation but unto them selves
their meetings are held in Barboursville,WV I know this as fact because my
cousin Brenard Belvin is the WV Chief and we attend their Gathering
held in Oct. every year.
There is a list of Tribal Nations and Tribes on the site called THE StrikeI
will
get the information and post it for you. I quoted that there was one other
nation
in WV it was from this list it also has who to contact to get the
information from
concerning this tribe
Will get back to you.
