William WORKMAN, born 1779 or thereabouts in Wills Town, Maryland or
thereabouts, married TERECA, daughter of Chief LONACONA, who was the son of
Chief NEMACOLIN, who was the son of Chief CHECOCHINICAN (many spellings) all
of the Lenni Lenape. Chief Checochinican married the daughter of a man
named Jacques Poynton of Canada and his Indian wife. Jacques Poynton may
have been French, English, or Indian, I have no idea.
I'd love to connect with anyone associated with this handful of folks.
