Margaret Abbot, dau of Curtis Abbott born 1830ish South Carolina though the
only Curtis abbott I have found in the 1830 census is in New Jersey. My
mother and two of her cousins all say that their mother's, who were
cousins, that Maragret was Cherokee. The family has some type of a Canadian
connetcion because Margaret's daughter was born in Canada and two of
Margaret's grand daughters [different mother's] were born in Canada.

Margaret married Hugh Pattison, born Penn and lived as a child in Delaware.
They married in a Baptist chruch in Camden New Jersey in 1850.
