Dear Darlene,
I have family at Walker Family Plantation Cemetery in Ranger and it's up on
a hill. My family's stones are chiseled on a rock. I don't know how old the
cemetery is but there are "slaves" buried there under the trees.

Can anyone tell me the name of the oldest cemetery in Murphy, Cherokee
County, North Carolina? I know you go through a newer part, up the hill to
where there is the old part. A lot of the stones there are chiseled out of
rock. Is there a list of those buried in the old part.
Thanks, Darlene
