Has anyone ever heard of a Nuton Cemetery? I found a note in my grandmother's handwriting that a long lost relative [Elizabeth Newton Swicegood] was buried ca. 1862 in Nuton Cemetery near Ashland, NC. I'd appreciate any help you can provide in tracking down this cemetery.
