I apologize for not knowing the county that Montpelier is in. I found it,
finally, on the atlas and it is Washington County. My ancestors lived in
WAshington County, Lamoille County, Orleans County, and Caledonia County.
Duhhh sometimes "granny" doesn't see so good, that is why my husband bought me
a magnifying glass with a light.
Great thing to have, now that I have it and will not misplace it because the
print on the atlas is VERY small.
