Here is what I find on Hamlin Allen.

Hamlin Allen Male, Age 32, Born Halifax, No occupation listed,
Silden Male, Age 23, Born VA, No occupation listed,
Wm Roberts Male, Age 47, Born Northamptonshire, No occupation listed,
Mulatto,

This is from 1850 Halifax Co. NC,
Page: 35,
Roll: M432_633,
