I have Heritage Quest, which lacks indices for 1830 and 1840. I can get the
actual images. All I need is a page number and township, etc., so that I
can locate the page.

Thanks,

David

David,

Here's the index information. Do you have access to census images or do you
need transcriptions?

Name: Allison, William Jun.
Township: Not Stated
County: Ashe
State: North Carolina
Year: 1830
Roll: 118
Page: 9
----------------------------------------------
Name: Allison, William Sen.
Township: Not Stated
County: Ashe
State: North Carolina
Year: 1830
Roll: 118
Page: 9
-----------------------------------------------
Name: Allison, William
Township: Not Stated
County: Buncombe
State: North Carolina
Year: 1830
Roll: 118
Page: 216

The 1830 index is only listed by the Head of Household so if William was too
young
to be HOH or have a family, he may have been living within one of these
other
ALLISON families. I did an all state search so whatever county William was
living in, he would show up in the index if he was the HOH.

Here are the ALLISON Heads of Household listed in Cabarrus Co.

James Allison Not Stated, Cabarrus, North Carolina
Margaret Allison Not Stated, Cabarrus, North Carolina
Thos Allison Not Stated, Cabarrus, North Carolina

I have been advised that Cabarrus County census records got screwed up
(misfiled) for at least one year (possibly more) and were filed under a
different county name in the index. I've heard possibly Burke County and
Mecklenburg County may have had some of Cabarrus County records listed
under
those counties. It is entirely possible that those you listed do as well.

I know my William S. Allison had a Jr., and a Sr., but my Junior would have
been too young to have had a family in 1830. I'd appreciate the series,
roll and page numbers for the three you have listed if you have easy access
to them.

Thanks

David
