Think I found that Alfred Wilson from Yancey in the 1850, shows father as
Thomas, no mother, and several siblings.
He was the only Alfred that showed up in Yancey in the 1850 Ancestry index.
So I don't think this one is yours after all..

Sorry, other no signs of him.
