Hi everyone,

I'm Jen and the new listowner of the Alleghany County list. I'm also the
new county coordinator for Alleghany County within the NCGenWeb Project. If
you've not seen it, please drop by.

I've made some changes to both and hope you will approve :)

First, if you take a look at the subject line, I've changed it so that
[NCALLEGH] will appear before any subject. This will automatically appear
when you post. This will help you identify any message coming thru on this
list. I've found when you subscribe to many different lists, this helps <g>

As I said, I'm also the county coordinator for Alleghany County now. I've
added an obituary forum and biography forum similar to the queries. Feel
free to post obits or bios there, but please, no queries. There is a place
for those.

If you have any information you'd like to submit to the project or you'd
like me to link to from the page, feel free to contact me. :)

Now, for some feedback from you, right now, the list is set for responses to
go to back to the person. Would you like the responses to remain this way
or would you like the responses to go to the list?

That's about it. I'll be sending the new welcome message through the list
in a moment.
