Jim,
I don't know how much help I can be with the Duncans, but I have some data
that was given to me by our online friend Ginger Wineman, who was a Duncan
descendant. Ginger passed on a few months ago unexpectedly. The Duncans of
Alleghany were neighbors of my families and my family bought land from John
Duncan. There were several John Duncans though. Your George Washington Duncan
went West didn't he ?
