Hi, all,

Hoping someone has some information on this Thomas N.
(prob. Norman) Harris after 1870, or his descendants.

Thomas N. was the son of Joel & Sarah Norman Harris of
Surry Co., NC. He married Cicely Scott in Surry Co., who
was many years his senior, and they were recorded as
husband and wife in 1860.

By 1870, Thomas had remarried to Nancy (Unknown),
and they had moved to Wilkes Co., where they were
recorded with their children: Elizabeth (b. ca. 1860/61),
William (b. ca. 1864/65), and James (b. 1866/67).

Thomas was not recorded in 1880 in northwest North Carolina.

Does anyone have a record of Thomas N. (probably Norman)
Harris and/or his family?

Did he die young, does anyone know?

Any help on this family will be most appreciated.
