Larry - You asked in August of this year about Solomon and Robert Parsons. Your basic information is incorrect. They were brothers, but Robert was born in Surry County VA in 1764 and Solomon was born (we think) in Rutherford County NC on 6-4-1772. They bought land in the New River area in the 1790's - Robert at Mouth of Wilson in Grayson County and Solomon along Grassy Creek and then Potato Creek in Ashe County NC. Alleghany County was created in 1859. Robert md. Anna Welborn/Welburn and raised a large family on his land. He died in 1846 and is buried on the property. Family still live there today. Solomon md. Lydia Sturgill of Ashe Co and they raised 13 children. Solomon died 1-18-1860 and is buried in his property. Descendants still live in the area.
Now for my question - how do you connect them to Hezekiah? I have heard before that they are brothers, but have seen no proof, and since Robert was born in 1764 (Albamarle Parish Records) and Hez. was born in 1802 - that is nearly a 40 year period. Possible but not probable. I would really like to hear how you connect them.
