Would like to compare notes with anyone researching the Hinson family. I
descend from Henry Hinson b. abt 1767 in VA and died after 1850 probably
in Overton Co., TN. Do not know who Henry's parents are. Henry was in NC
by late 1700s I believe. Married Rebecca Eliz. Griffin of Anson Co., NC.
She was the daughter of David and _____ Mullis Griffin. Moved to KY
after 1800. In Overton Co., TN by 1820. Known children were: Martha,
Charles F., John G.and Henry, Jr. It has been theorized that 2 other
Hinsons in Overton Co. may have been children of Henry as well. They
were Aron and Julia.

Any help appreciated.
