sandra---i'm steve trivett, but not the one you saw in the book "come when the timbers turn'' (i have a copy of the book)but part of the same family. the mary ann you mention was married to joel trivett and the parents of jacob leroy trivett who was my great grandfather (he died 10 months before i was born). i have a breakdown of a lot of the lineage of the trivett family from the butler/north carolina area that one of my second cousins did. it's fantastic reading and has caused me to develop an interest in all those folks. i still own some of the property from the original trivett land grant that was given after the end of the revolutionary war. if you want more information e-mail me and i'll send you a condensed version of what i have. thanks, steve trivett
