Could anyone help us out with a little bit of research with Bertie/Hertford
County Funeral Directors? Lynn suggested that they might be a wonderful
resource for cemeteries.

In Taylor County, GA, we've been allowed to put on-line Funeral Director
records for the 1935-1940 periods. These contain some very helpful
information. If anyone could contact Bertie County Funeral Directors and
obtain permission for something like this, it would be so helpful!!

Most of the early burials were on family farms, I'm guessing up to the late
1890's. Anybody else care to give a guess on that one?

Also Lynn mentioned that a NC Archivist was working on a NC Cemetery
project. I'd like for us to all join in. Does anyone know about that?
