I am looking for a Thomas Simmons and his family. I have a
Thomas Simmons born abt 1765 in NC. He was married about 1785 to a Mary
Ann Walker. They had the following children below.

2)Nacy 1792
3)Mary Polly Simmons Oct. 26,1792
4)Wiley Simmons Sept. 24,1801
5)Peter Simmons Dec. 24,1804
6)Nancy Simmons about 1804
7)Lewis Simmons 1808
8)Daniel Clinton Simmons Jan. 12,1815
9)John C. Simmons 1786
10) Drury Simmons Oct. 17,1819

The farthest back I have documented information on
Thgomas Simmons is in Burke County NC when his daughter Mary Polly
Simmons married a Lewis Kerley about 1815. According to biographies done
on three of his sons Thomas was in Bertie County NC about 1800 but have
found no actual proof of him being in Bertie County.

He move to Wayne County Tennessee where he lived from 1820 to
1846 or there abouts and moved to Johnson County Illinois where he died
between 1850 and 1855. All of his sons moved to Johnson County Illinois
with him and settled there.

I would like to talk to other researchers looking for anyone
from this family or who has ran across information about this family.
