Greetings, all:

This is a wonderfully active list! Thought it was time I posted my
interests instead of just lurking in the shadows.

I'm looking for the parents of my gggf Richard Carey Blount LAWRENCE, b.
Feb. 25, 1818 in Tarboro, Edgecombe County, North Carolina. I have his
descendants, but can't find from whence he sprang. Am guessing that his
mother's maiden name might have been Blount.

Does anyone have connections here, or access to the 1820 census to do a
look-up for me? I'd be
most grateful.
