Marilyn-

I was reading your post to Gerald with great interest, and was hoping you or
another subscriber to the list might be able to help me with my search. I
am not sure if I have posted my family on this list or not so I will do it
again to make sure.

I am searching for information on my ggrandparent Granville Phelps and Sara
Elizabeth "Bettie" Davis Phelps.
Bettie had 4 children at the time of her marriage to Granville. These
children were Coy, Sudie, Rowena, and Jenny Davis. Together they had Jordan
Eugene (my grandfather b.1902-1958), Elizabeth, Jesse, and Russell Phelps.

Family history has it that both Sara and Granville had Native American
connections. I know that my Phelps' were from the Merry Hill area of Bertie
County (my father was born there too), and I am assuming the Davis' were
from the general vicinity.

I would be grateful for any information on my family, parents, siblings,
etc., or for any pointers to guide me on my way. Thanks for your time.
